Fourteen creative minds from Prirodoslovno-grafička škola Zadar journeyed to the sun-drenched shores of Setúbal. Immersed in the world of 3D game art design, these students navigated the intricate landscapes of digital creation, transforming raw concepts into vibrant, interactive realities.
Technical mastery defined their days as they harnessed the power of Blender, Unity, and Photoshop. They meticulously explored polygon modelling and spatial transformations, laboring over the architecture of urban environments and the subtle details of character design. Every vertex and texture served as a building block for their evolving digital worlds.
Beyond mere construction, the group embraced the full production pipeline. They executed complex mapping, lighting, and rendering sequences, breathing life into their work through fluid 3D and 2D animations. From crafting UI elements to preparing optimized maps, they bridged the gap between artistic vision and functional game design.
Bridging the gap between artistic vision and functional game design, the students forged a new path in the digital landscape.
The experience left the trainees with a profound grasp of 3D graphics, from modelling and lighting to advanced rendering techniques. They mastered industry-standard software, gained fluency in UI design, and learned the precise steps required to animate both 2D and 3D assets for gaming environments.
Beyond technical proficiency, the participants gained a clear understanding of the artist's pivotal role within a studio. Equipped with the ability to research artistic trends and apply core design principles, they returned to Zadar prepared to tackle the professional demands of the global video game industry.
