Eight students from Pomorsko-tehnička škola Dubrovnik traveled to Setúbal to sharpen their technical expertise. Two mechanics mastered boat repair, from diagnosing mechanical faults and assembling systems to maintaining essential naval equipment. They learned to organize tasks, select precise tools, and execute complex assembly work orders.
Three navigators gained hands-on experience in port operations. They managed ship maneuvers, inspected engines, and oversaw cargo loading. Beyond technical duties, they handled client relations, coordinated boat tours, and provided essential maritime information to guests.
Three electrical trainees supported installations in residential and commercial buildings. They prepared worksites, installed lighting systems, and dismantled old components. Under tutor supervision, they maintained equipment efficiency, repaired electrical devices, and analyzed technical documentation to ensure safety and function.
Bridging classroom theory with real-world maritime and electrical expertise in the heart of Setúbal.
Graduates returned with advanced skills in naval mechanics, including engine overhaul and safety protocols. They mastered material properties, occupational health standards, and preventive maintenance for boat systems, ensuring they could now confidently manage complex mechanical repairs and passenger safety.
Electrical trainees gained full competency in reading technical drawings and managing electrical installations. They mastered industry-standard safety procedures, tool application, and diagnostic techniques, proving their readiness to handle professional installations and troubleshoot modern electrical systems effectively.
