Sixteen students from Poland, embarked on a professional mobility program in Setúbal. Participants engaged in specialized work placements: graphic designers refined visual communication projects using Adobe Suite; CNC operators mastered technical documentation and precision metal machining; culinary trainees explored local gastronomy and professional kitchen management; logistics students optimized warehouse inventory and supply chain coordination; and tourism trainees developed expertise in regional promotion and event management. This immersion provided practical experience in real-world professional environments, bridging the gap between theoretical vocational training and international industry standards.
International experience fosters professional adaptability, technical proficiency, and a nuanced understanding of diverse European industry standards.
Participants gained comprehensive sector-specific competencies. Graphic designers mastered industry-standard software and visual production. CNC trainees acquired expertise in metrology, CAD, and machine operation. Culinary students internalized food safety, presentation, and service techniques. Logistics trainees learned advanced inventory management and hazard identification. Tourism participants developed cultural, historical, and marketing insights essential for the local market. These outcomes ensure graduates are well-prepared for the demands of the modern workforce.
