Vocational Excellence: Training Mobility in Setúb

Project Details

We are thrilled to present a transformative vocational mobility program based in the vibrant city of Setúbal, Portugal. This initiative hosts 15 dedicated participants from Poland, offering them a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between theoretical education and real-world professional practice. Our group is diverse, featuring 4 aspiring hairdressers, 3 electrical work trainees, 2 retail specialists, 1 car mechanic, 2 pastry chefs, 1 carpenter, and 2 culinary assistants. Throughout their stay, participants engage in rigorous daily tasks: hairdressers master sterilization and advanced coloring; electricians maintain complex lighting systems; retail staff manage inventory and customer relations; our mechanic performs diagnostic repairs; pastry chefs create artisanal treats; the carpenter works with precision on furniture assembly; and kitchen staff explore local gastronomy. This immersive experience ensures that every participant gains hands-on expertise, cultural competence, and the practical skills necessary to excel in their chosen trade within a dynamic international environment.

Empowering the next generation of professionals through hands-on international vocational training and cultural immersion in the beautiful coastal setting of Setúbal, Portugal.

By the end of this program, participants have achieved significant professional growth. Hairdressers are now proficient in modern styling trends, while electricians can confidently interpret technical schematics. Retail trainees possess a deep understanding of inventory and customer service, and our mechanic has mastered advanced diagnostic tools. Pastry and culinary students have mastered local techniques and hygiene standards, and our carpenter is skilled in complex assembly. Beyond technical mastery, these trainees have gained adaptability, international networking skills, and a global perspective that will undoubtedly accelerate their future career prospects back in Poland.
