Ten students from Pomorska škola Zadar in Croatia engaged in a professional mobility program in Setúbal, Portugal, focusing on the technical and operational demands of the maritime sector. This initiative provided immersive training in vessel management and port logistics. Participants gained hands-on experience by executing essential ship maneuvers within port environments and monitoring maritime traffic reports. The curriculum emphasized technical diligence, including the inspection of vessels and propulsion systems, alongside rigorous cleaning and maintenance protocols. Beyond technical mechanics, students developed commercial and logistical competencies by managing cargo loading and unloading, facilitating client arrivals and departures, and collaborating in the creation of comprehensive boat tour services. This experience also involved direct client engagement, where trainees learned to articulate service offerings and provide detailed information to prospective passengers.
