3D Innovation Journey in Málaga

Project Details

Eight students from Liceul de Marină in Constanța embarked on a transformative journey to Málaga, immersing themselves in the cutting-edge world of 3D manufacturing. They bridged the gap between theory and practice, mastering the art of interpreting complex plans and operating machinery for cutting, drilling, and polishing. From the initial setup to the final extraction of plastic and metal components, the group managed every stage of the production cycle with precision.

Daily routines involved rigorous machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication to ensure peak performance. The participants utilized advanced software to design intricate pieces, creating 3D models while critically debating structural limitations. They became proficient in exporting, repairing, and processing files, ensuring every digital blueprint translated perfectly into a physical object.

Technical expertise flourished as they navigated the nuances of 3D Mesh and prepared printers for both PLA and ABS materials. By designing and programming support structures, the team transformed abstract concepts into tangible prototypes. This hands-on environment turned the workshop into a vibrant laboratory of engineering creativity.

Mastering the synergy between digital design and physical production, our students transformed complex geometry into high-precision 3D reality under the Andalusian sun.

The trainees gained a comprehensive grasp of 3D printing, mastering software modeling and technical English for industry communication. They integrated geometry and trigonometry into their designs, while deepening their understanding of polymer properties like strength and hardness for PLA and ABS materials.

Safety protocols and tool selection became second nature during their time in the workshop. They returned home with a robust technical foundation, ready to apply their refined skills in advanced surface finishing and sophisticated manufacturing processes.
