Fifteen students from Poljoprivredna i veterinarska škola Osijek embarked on a professional journey to Málaga. Three participants focused on horticulture, where they prepared garden sites, mowed lawns, pruned hedges, and performed essential plant care. Their daily routine involved manual tasks and precise labeling to maintain vibrant green zones.
Four students engaged with farm animals, assisting in daily feeding, marking, and health monitoring. They learned to identify animal needs, distribute rations, and maintain equipment, gaining practical insights into livestock management and natural remedies. Their work ensured the farm operated efficiently under professional standards.
Eight participants specialized in veterinary and equine care. They assisted in clinical examinations, surgical procedures, and diagnostic imaging. Equine tasks included grooming, stable disinfection, and health monitoring, while veterinary duties centered on medication administration and hygiene, providing a comprehensive overview of animal health services.
Practical immersion in Málaga bridged the gap between academic theory and field expertise, refining technical skills in agriculture, livestock management, and specialized veterinary care.
Participants mastered safety protocols and identified workplace hazards. They gained proficiency in operating agricultural machinery, distinguishing plant species, and applying seasonal protection methods. These technical competencies fostered a deeper understanding of occupational health and environmental maintenance.
Students acquired advanced knowledge of veterinary hygiene and diagnostic techniques. They became adept at using pharmaceutical products and promoting animal well-being through modern feeding and care standards. These outcomes prepared them for professional challenges in agricultural and clinical settings.
