Eleven students from Zespół Szkół im. Stanisława Staszica in Staszów are heading to Setúbal for an intensive automotive internship. Seven participants will focus on mechanical operations, while four specialize in vehicle electronics. Mechanical trainees will master defect location, routine maintenance, manufacturer-specific protocols, and precision repairs using specialized tools. They will evaluate mechanical and electronic performance, select diagnostic methods, and prepare vehicles for client delivery. The electronics group will detect system faults, manage electrical installations, and maintain circuit integrity. They are tasked with preparing worksites, ensuring equipment efficiency, and fabricating complex electrical circuits. Together, they will gain hands-on experience in a professional workshop environment, refining their technical skills and workflow management under expert guidance.
Precision, diagnostics, and technical excellence: bridging the gap between classroom theory and real-world automotive engineering in Portugal.
Participants emerge with a deep understanding of car maintenance, diagnostic computers, and oscilloscope operations. Trainees gain proficiency in dismantling components, assessing quality standards, and adjusting critical systems like brakes, steering, and suspension. They master hydraulic scissor lifts and complex electronic circuit installation. Beyond technical tasks, they internalize safety protocols for electrical repairs and gain confidence in using every tool within a professional workshop. These outcomes ensure they can identify malfunctions, navigate quality regulations, and execute repairs with professional precision.
