Seventeen students from Zespół Szkół Zawodowych im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie in Płock traveled to Setúbal, Portugal, to master mobile application development. The participants immersed themselves in configuring Android Studio and implementing complex navigation systems, including Slide menus and Navigation Drawers. They bridged the gap between theory and practice by passing data through explicit intents and testing templates across emulators and physical devices.
Technical training focused heavily on integrating hardware components such as GPS, cameras, and compass sensors. The students developed robust database maintenance skills by executing SQL queries and managing data structures within their applications. Furthermore, they explored geolocation services using Google Maps integration.
The final phase involved application deployment and monetization. Participants learned to package apps into APK formats, manage Google Play store listings, and implement AdMob components for advertising.
Seventeen students gained professional expertise in Android architecture, geolocation services, and database management through hands-on development in Setúbal.
The mobility enabled students to master the Android framework and software emulation. They gained proficiency in WAP protocols and distinguished between various application templates, ensuring they selected the most effective structures for their projects. By the end of the program, they successfully applied SQL clauses and navigated the complex architecture of modern mobile operating systems.
Beyond technical coding, the trainees identified reliable sources for current industry standards and programming updates. This experience solidified their grasp of interface design and device architecture, providing a competitive foundation for their future careers in the software industry.
