Eight students from Donner + Kern Private Schulen, Waiblingen, traded German classrooms for the vibrant streets of Sevilla. Four participants dove into the gastronomy sector, mastering the art of service. They managed table setups, took orders, served drinks, and maintained rigorous hygiene standards, ensuring every guest felt welcomed and every plate was handled with care.
The other four participants tackled the retail landscape, driving sales and customer satisfaction. They unpacked inventory, curated eye-catching window displays, and mastered product knowledge to provide expert advice. From managing invoices to stocking shelves, they kept operations running smoothly.
Both groups navigated the daily rhythm of Spanish business culture. They balanced operational tasks—like cleaning workspaces and organizing warehouses—with direct client engagement, building a robust foundation in international work environments through hands-on experience.
Beyond borders, our students transformed theoretical knowledge into professional expertise, mastering the fast-paced reality of Sevilla's service and retail sectors.
The trainees mastered industry-specific workflows, from food safety protocols to efficient inventory management. They gained a deep understanding of market dynamics, occupational health standards, and the precise organization required to excel in professional settings.
This experience forged practical confidence. Participants learned to anticipate customer needs, classify goods, and navigate complex work environments with ease. They returned home with sharpened technical skills and a truly global perspective on their future careers.
