Antipa Students in Málaga Internship

Project Details

Fourteen students from Liceul Tehnologic Grigore Antipa in Bacău, Romania, completed a transformative professional internship in Málaga. Nine participants integrated into culinary teams, where they meticulously prepared ingredients, mastered local recipes, and managed kitchen equipment. They engaged in seasoning, cooking, and serving traditional specialties while maintaining strict hygiene and storage standards.

Five additional participants focused on the tourism sector, facilitating cultural tours and managing client inquiries. They curated promotional digital content, updated social media platforms, and assisted in the distribution of travel catalogs. These efforts allowed them to gain direct insight into the operational mechanics of the local hospitality industry.

This mobility fostered a deep appreciation for Andalusian culture and professional excellence. By navigating real-world tasks, the cohort bridged the gap between academic theory and vocational practice, gaining invaluable experience in international work environments.

Global exposure turned classroom concepts into professional mastery, equipping our students with the skills and cultural competence to thrive in the European labor market.

Participants mastered essential culinary workflows, from ingredient preparation and plate presentation to complex service techniques like filleting. They internalized safety regulations and gained deep familiarity with Mediterranean gastronomy, successfully bridging technical skills with regional culinary traditions.

In the tourism sphere, students acquired a comprehensive grasp of destination marketing and cultural management. They mastered local historical contexts, expanded their sector-specific vocabulary, and developed a nuanced understanding of how strategic promotion drives the local economy.
